The effects of anorexia nervosa can be devastating but most teenagers have no idea of this, they see the hollywood movies and tv shows where skinny models with perfect bodies show up, however they dont know the risks of starving themselves and they are given bad advice.
There needs to be a school campaigns in the whole country where people give presentation on the risks and effects of trying to lose weight by not eating and starving your body.

The effects of anorexia are loss of hair, low blood pressure, low heart rate, weak nails, loss of muscle, loss of teath, intestine problems, unable to digest food, yellow skin, vomiting, osteoporosis and more.
Even when the patient accepts her problem and wants to recover, the effects does not cease, sometimes the health problems can persist for years, like weak bones or osteoporosis which can be a problem for the rest of their lives.
Not to mention the emotional and traumatic problems that the teenager will have for years to come, is very difficult to recover from it and their adolescence is lost.
The sooner that the disorder is treat it, the easier it will be to recover, so dont let your self down, the worst effect of anorexia is death, now is up to you to choose.
